Missions at Trinity
“Any endeavor outside our local congregation, not under the direct jurisdiction of our church, to fulfill the Great Commission of Christ by proclaiming the Gospel of Christ, making disciples and relating to the whole need of mankind – both spiritual and physical.”
(Matthew 25:31-45 cf. Galatians 6:9-10)
OUR Goal For Missions
is based on Matthew 28:18-20 where Jesus tells his disciples:
“All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”
- Matthew 28:18-20
OUR Strategy for Missions
is to ensure that money supporting various missionary activities around the world is being used in an effective manner to fulfill the Great Commission. There is a process for prioritizing the many requests received. Rather than being a strict formula for choosing which missionary to support, this process reflects our mission’s emphasis.
Our priorities in missions fall into three main categories:
what type of work is being done
the receptivity of the people to be reached
who will be doing the missions work
Our Missionaries
Trinity Fellowship supports several long-term and short-term missionaries as well as several local missions organizations.
Our church supports other missionaries that are in sensitive areas around the world. Please consult with the board chair person or church office for information concerning these people.
