Daily Scripture & Questions:
Psalm 108:1-110:7 Imprecatory psalms are the ones that include curses upon an enemy.  Does David seek his own vengeance (see Psalm 109:4)?  Does turning to God in prayer mean that he cleans up his prayer or rather that he honestly pours out his heart to God?  What do you need to give to God honestly today . . . and leave it in His hands?

Family Devotions—Scripture & Question:
Psalm 110:1-7 is one of the most quoted passages in the New Testament. The picture is of a king who is also a priest. That never happened in the Old Testament, but a King Priest is fulfilled when Jesus comes as the King in the line of David and the Priest in the order of Melchizedek. Celebrate that God is making all of Jesus' enemies His footstool.

Biblical Prayer Focus:
Exodus 34:8-9 And Moses quickly bowed his head toward the earth and worshiped. And he said, “If now I have found favor in your sight, O Lord, please let the Lord go in the midst of us, for it is a stiff-necked people, and pardon our iniquity and our sin, and take us for your inheritance.”

Ask the Lord to pardon your iniquities and to help you not be stiff-necked when He leads you in His ways.
