Ruth 1:1-4:20 How did Boaz fulfill the role as kinsman-redeemer?  How does that point to Christ's redeeming work for us?  Remember as well that Ruth was a Moabitess and that she is in Jesus' family tree (see Matthew 1:5 and Luke 3:32).

Read Ruth 2:1-13.  How is Ruth a great example of serving her mother-in-law? Read Ruth 1:15-18. How does this part let us know that Ruth is also a servant of God?

Psalm 6:1-3 O LORD, rebuke me not in your anger, nor discipline me in your wrath. Be gracious to me, O LORD, for I am languishing; heal me, O LORD, for my bones are troubled. My soul also is greatly troubled. But you, O LORD—how long?
