Biblical Prayer Focus:
Psalm 40:16-17 But may all who seek you rejoice and be glad in you; may those who love your salvation say continually, “Great is the LORD!” As for me, I am poor and needy, but the Lord takes thought for me. You are my help and my deliverer; do not delay, O my God!
Marvel that the God of the universe knows your name and even the very hairs on your head. Praise Him for taking thought for us, even though we are only poor and needy people. Rejoice that He has promised to be our help and deliverer and that He will not delay. Ask Him for grace and patience in the moments when it does seem like He is delaying – His timing is always perfect.
