Daily Scripture & Question:
Psalm 5:1-12, 38:1-22, 41:1-42:11 In Psalm 5, note the contrast between abundance in verses 7 and 10.  Give praise that you can come boldly into the presence of God through Jesus Christ.  Ask the Lord to show you if there is any sin in your life . . . and if so, use Psalm 38 to help you confess it.  Sin eats us up from the inside.  Knowing this, resist the temptations you face today - they are not worth it!  How does Psalm 42 teach us to "talk to ourselves" (note verses 5 and 11)?

Family Devotions—Scripture & Questions:
Read Psalm 42:5-11. We can all be sad sometimes. How does the psalmist remind himself not to let his sadness take over his life?

Biblical Prayer Focus:
Mark 11:24-25 Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.  And whenever you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against anyone, so that your Father also who is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.

Make sure you have forgiven others and ask the Lord to help you have faith to believe, confident that He wants to give you what is best for you.
