I Chronicles 3:1-5:26 In the midst of these chapters of genealogy are some sections that seem a little bit easier to apply.  What are the lessons of I Chronicles 4:9-10; 5:18-22 and 5:25-26?

Family Devotions—Scripture & Questions:
Read I Chronicles 4:9-10. Are there any great things that God has laid on your heart that you can do for His glory but only with His help? Can we pray together that God would give you visions of making a difference for His Kingdom?

Biblical Prayer Focus:
1 Samuel 1:25-28a Then they slaughtered the bull, and they brought the child to Eli. And she said, “Oh, my lord! As you live, my lord, I am the woman who was standing here in your presence, praying to the LORD. For this child I prayed, and the LORD has granted me my petition that I made to him. Therefore I have lent him to the LORD. As long as he lives, he is lent to the LORD.”

Hannah was blessed to receive the child Samuel in response to her prayers. Yet she realized he ultimately belonged to God. Entrust the children you know back into the hands of the Lord.
