Read Leviticus 18:1-5. Verse five is quoted in the New Testament several times.  If someone wants to live eternally, they must do all of the laws perfectly, but no one can do that.  What do we need?

Ask God to work through His Spirit to make you more and more holy. Ask His protection from sins that could make you fall.
