Daily Scripture & Questions:
Deuteronomy 32:1-34:12; Psalm 91:1-16 How does Moses' song foretell of the plight of Israel?  Why can prosperity (32:15) be so dangerous?  Rejoice that the promises to Israel (Jeshurun is a pet name) are also promises to God's people today (see Deuteronomy 33:27 and Psalm 91:1-2).

Family Devotions-Scripture & Questions:
Read Deuteronomy 32:48-52. What did Moses do that was so bad? Do other people's bad choices excuse our making bad choices?

Biblical Prayer Focus:
1 Peter 3:10-12 For whoever desires to love life and see good days, let him keep his tongue from evil and his lips from speaking deceit; let him turn away from evil and do good; let him seek peace and pursue it. For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and his ears are open to their prayer. But the face of the Lord is against those who do evil.

As you go to prayer, ask the Holy Spirit to show you if you have sins that need to be confessed. Especially focus on broken relationships and hurtful or lying words you have spoken. Ask God to make you a true peacemaker who speaks the truth in love.
