Exodus 28-29 How can you do what God has called you to do for His glory and even "for beauty" (see 28:27 and 28:40)?  How does Jesus, the Ultimate High Priest, bear the judgment of the people on His heart (see 28:29-30)?

 Family Devotions—Scripture & Questions:

Read Exodus 28:4-5, 29. (Try to find a picture of the high priest's garments.) Jesus is our ultimate High Priest, and He always prays for us (Hebrews 7:25).  Of what were the twelve stones on the priest's breastplate to remind him?

 Biblical Prayer Focus:

Colossians 1:9-10 And so, from the day we heard, we have not ceased to pray for you, asking that you may be filled with the knowledge of his will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, so as to walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to him, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God.

Pray that you would be filled with the knowledge of God's will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding. Seek how He wants you to walk today and what fruit He wants you to bear.
