Daily Scripture & Questions:
Judges 13:1-15:20 The story of Samson reminds us that God can use, for His purposes, whomever He wills.  What actions and attitudes of Sampson should we not take as examples for our lives?

Family Devotions—Scripture & Questions:
Read Judges 15:9-17. Why would God's people (the men of Judah) not want Sampson to cause trouble with their enemies who ruled over them (the Philistines)? Would you rather have the trouble you know or the victory for which you can only hope?

Biblical Prayer Focus:
Psalm 119:132-134 Turn to me and be gracious to me, as is your way with those who love your name. Keep steady my steps according to your promise, and let no iniquity get dominion over me. Redeem me from man's oppression, that I may keep your precepts.

Ask for God's support so that you can be kept from decisions that would lead you away from His straight and narrow path. Pray His protection in your life and those whom you pray for -- that not one of you would allow sin to gain a foothold or take the upper hand in your life.
