Isaiah 31:1-34:17 These chapters look forward to God's great deliverance from the Assyrians, but they also point to God's ultimate victory over evil.  When are you tempted to trust in "horses" rather than to look to God (31:1)?  Are you complacent (32:9-14) or are you looking to God's spirit and the experience of "quietness and trust" now and when Jesus comes again . . . forever (32:15)?  Ask the Lord to be the stability of your time (33:5-6) knowing that the Lord will make things right for He has a day of vengeance in store against the wrong doers (34:8).
