Daily Scripture & Questions:
Psalms 1:1-2:12, 15:1-5, 22:1-24:10, 47:1-9, 68:1-35 The great promise of God to David in II Samuel 7 (that we will read in a few days) is behind many of the psalms about the king.  Note how often the praises and accolades are too "big" or too "great" to merely be about an earthly king like David.  Ask the Lord to use Psalms 15 and 24 to do a check-up on your life . . . do you have clean hands and a pure heart?

Family Devotions-Scripture & Questions:
Read Psalm 1:-12.
In the end, how many ways are there to live?  How are you living like the “blessed man”?

Biblical Prayer Focus:
Psalm 44:1-3 O God, we have heard with our ears, our fathers have told us, what deeds you performed in their days, in the days of old: you with your own hand drove out the nations, but them you planted; you afflicted the peoples, but them you set free; for not by their own sword did they win the land, nor did their own arm save them, but your right hand and your arm, and the light of your face, for you delighted in them.

Adore God for His faithfulness to Israel and to us, His grafted in children who are now part of the people of God. Ask Him to remind you that it is not by your own strength and wisdom that you have accomplished anything that really matters. It was through Him Who delights in you because of your faith in Jesus!
