Jeremiah 7:1-9:26 What were the deceptive words in which the people placed their trust (7:4, 8)?  Does God's counsel to not pray for the people indicate a point of no return (7:16)?  Why do the people feel comfortable saying that the Law of the Lord is with them (8:8)?  What does it mean to heal the wound lightly (8:11)?  Note how Jeremiah is filled with grief with the message of judgment (8:18-9:3)?  Are our eyes filled with tears when we have to speak of the reality of Hell?
